Clint and Cal went camping with the Cub scouts this weekend.  They made memories fishing, hiking, learning about snakes and edible swamp cabbage,  reading Harry Potter in the tent, and making smores at the campfire.

Making Baby Food

Yummy carrots!

Well one of our adventures today was making Harper some homemade baby food.  It was actually pretty easy.  We steamed carrots. Pureed them in the food processor.  Then scooped it into the ice cube tray so it would freeze in individual portions.  I think Henry was just glad I wasn't planning on making him eat it.

Harper 4 months, first veggie

Harper had her 4 month old check up on Monday.  She is now 25 and 3/4 inches tall and weighs 13 lbs.  She is in the 94% for her height.  Her pediatrician recommended yellow squash as her first food.  We tried feeding it to her for the first time today.  She was not a big fan.  We'll try again tomorrow.

Heather and Logan came for a visit.  It was such a treat to be able to spend my birthday with my cousin. The kids had fun making a Star Wars show.
